What if color could respond to you? 🎨
For this interactive installation, dots, I explored how movement, light, and color can come together to create a dynamic, responsive experience.
As you move around the piece, the surfaces shift and overlap revealing new colors and subtle transitions in real time. What looks static at first becomes something constantly changing, shaped by your presence.
Built using Arduino, sensors, and servos, this project bridges physical interaction with digital response turning simple materials into something more immersive.
Designing this pushed me to think beyond screens and into space, movement, and interaction.
Through my research, I found out that the arduino mega would be able to support our servos for the movement, which would be detected by the distance sensors. The magnetic input was require to meet the requirement of two inputs, and also to have a kick start to the installation.
